Our sale teams represent a carefully selected group with a focus on key attributes to enhance the fertility and profitability of our clients’ herds.
All bulls are run on grass and operate under the same conditions as the breeding herd. We measure our bulls monthly with testes palpation to identify the age and weight of puberty.
Our selections must meet strict temperament and structural review, be bred out of productive cow families and meet specific EBV benchmarks.
Our bulls feature very low DTC and high SS with moderate growth EBVs.
Poll bulls are identified genotypically and will feature provided they meet all other criteria.
Our bulls may be southern, but they are certainly not soft, proven to perform across Northern Australia.
Copley Pastoral contributes to the Alf Collins CBV Sale on property at Marlborough, Queensland. Together with other breed-leading contributors, this is the largest private sale of analysed Brahman genetics in Australia. We are proud to be associated with the CBV Sale and Field Day. Both days allow for the opportunity to review sale bulls and meet us and like-minded producers with a focus on functional, analysed genetics.
